David's Goals
Took me 17.5 years to put on this weight.........So I am giving myself 2.5 years to take it off. My goal is to be my target weight (150-170) by the time I turn 50.
I am 47 years old, 5'8" and weigh 250#'s - All the info I have read say my weight should be 150-155 and it was my weight when I was 30. But realistically if I just get myself down to 170 I will consider it a success.

Re: David's Goals
Like the turtle and the hare, slow and steady wins the race.
One of our members (I think Steph) has a great idea to only weigh herself once / week. Our weights bounce around so much day-to-day and even throughout the day, and it will drive you nuts if you focus too much on very short term results.
But, if you can't resist jumping on the scale often (like me), just keep in mind that your weight will fluctuate. Just keep shooting for lower lows and lower highs.

Re: David's Goals
Hey, David.
Good goals and I'm with you on keeping the weight loss at a steady, slow pace.
Good to have you aboard.
