Samba De Amigo
Not technically a fitness game but it is quite the workout. I read about this on Amazon and a lot of the reviews mentioned it was a great aerobics workout and a lot of fun so I had to get it. It definitely is both! If you are familiar with the Dance Dance Revolution games where you have a mat and you match the "dance steps" this is similar but instead of the mat you use the wiimotes (as the Maracas) and match the arm movements by pointing the wiimotes where the "balls" are heading. There is also a "Hustle" mode where in between matching the ball movements, you have to swing your arms in the directions that are indicated and do poses.
Here's some video of what the game looks like:

And here's an ad showing a family playing it:

And here's a video of some regular people playing it:

I really get moving when I use it and swing my hips and try moving around as much as possible and still hit the marks. You can buy "Maraca" wiimotes but I've heard they aren't as sensitive as using the actual wiimotes. Also, you can use two wiimotes instead of a wiimote and a nunchuck attached to it so you don't have to deal with the wire getting in the way. I use the two wiimotes.

Samba
I have seen the maracas but haven't read or heard about a use for them. If this is a samba like the Cubans (Coobans)samba it would be a brisk bit of motion. Iye yay yay yay, in the soft sand I'm all over it.

Re: Samba De Amigo
It's a lot of fun with great music. I'm really sweating by the end of the hour I do it but sometimes can't resist doing one or two more songs when I'm finished!
